Teapot ’61

This stoneware teapot was the first object Erik Magnussen designed for Bing & Grøndahl batch production. It is second step in his industrialization of the ceramic teapot, leading him to finally eliminate the processes of adding both spout and handle. This pot leaves the mold as body and spout. The handle is still added in a separate process.
