We are proud to see Erik Magnussen’s Porcelight, originally designed in 1982, introduced by Carl Hansen & Søn.
Porcelight reflects Erik Magnussen’s lifelong fascination with ceramics, materiality and function. Crafted in white glazed bone china, the pendant has a pure, understated presence when unlit and transforms when illuminated, allowing the porcelain to emit a warm, softly diffused glow.

The updated ship’s lamp retains its iconic maritime design while incorporating modern technology by replacing the traditional EM Burner with an efficient LED light source.
The LED unit is available as a set with the ship’s lamp, or can be purchased separately for those who already own a ship lamp with an EM burner.
