Stelton

The Danish design company Stelton A/S was founded in 1960 producing tabletop and kitchenware in stainless steel. Stelton took off considerably from 1964 when the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen’s ‘Cylinda Line’ was launched.
Erik Magnussen joined the company in the mid seventies as a freelance designer, and his awarded thermo jug was introduced in 1977. The EM collection at Stelton is being taken care of and developed in an ongoing collaboration between Stelton and the Magnussen family.
A number of Stelton products are exhibited in a.o. The Museum of Modern Art and The Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York City, at Philadelphia Museum of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Staatliches Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Munich, and Design Museum Denmark.
